This page describes how the DearVoid app and this product website handle data. Features and system services can vary by app version and device settings.
Chats and memories in the app
AI conversations run on your device. Chat history, AI memory, preferences and model files are stored locally by the app. The app offers controls for managing chats and memories. This website does not receive those conversations.
Images are not history attachments (updated app)
The updated app uses chat images for the current analysis, without retaining photo attachments or history thumbnails. Startup cleanup removes legacy app-private copies, and migration clears stored image paths. Gallery originals are not deleted. Captions, photo markers, extracted text and AI replies may remain in chat. Older app releases need an update to obtain this behavior.
Live frames and temporary files
Live does not record a complete video. Normal frame analysis uses memory; fallback capture may briefly create a temporary image, which the app attempts to delete after reading. Picking images and OCR can also create temporary files. Startup cleanup retries recognized leftovers. Crashes or filesystem errors can delay cleanup; this is not a guarantee of zero traces or secure erasure. Live conversation text and observation notes you opt to keep may still be stored locally.
What may use the internet
Downloading or updating a model and retrieving online content use the internet. System speech recognition and read-aloud services may use cloud processing, depending on the service and device settings. Check that the relevant offline resources are installed before relying on offline voice features.
Content you choose to send
If you email feedback or submit a report, the recipient receives the information you choose to send. Check your message and attachments before sending. Contact: support@gist-ai.net.
This website
This website introduces the product and uses scripted demonstration text. It has no chat input, camera or microphone access, advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or sign-up forms. Cloudflare hosts the website and may process IP addresses and basic request information to deliver pages and provide network security.
Your choices
Use the app’s controls to manage or delete local records. Uninstalling usually removes app-private data; reinstalling does not automatically restore conversations. For questions about the app or this page, contact support@gist-ai.net.
