Terms of Service & Refund Policy

Scope
These terms cover buying and using DearVoid Afterdark ("Afterdark"). Afterdark is provided by Livharve; contact: support@gist-ai.net. By buying or using Afterdark you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
Afterdark is for adults aged 18 and over only. By purchasing you confirm that you are at least 18. Do not install it for, or share it with, anyone younger.
The service
Afterdark is an AI companion app that runs on your phone, offering character conversation, photo and Live interaction, and bedtime stories. All responses are generated by AI; they are fictional character expression, not real feelings, and are not medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice. Features and behaviour depend on your device, the model you download and the conversation.
Plans and prices
Monthly: US$1.99 per month, renewing automatically each month until you cancel. Lifetime: US$9.99, a one-time payment with no renewal. The final currency, amount and any applicable tax are shown on the Stripe checkout page. Payments are processed by Stripe; Livharve never sees your card details.
Licence and activation
Once payment is verified, the licence in the app is activated and linked to the email address you entered at checkout. On a new or reinstalled device you can restore it with a verification code sent to that address. The licence is for your personal use and may not be resold or shared.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel the monthly plan at any time: once the Stripe customer portal is open you can do it there yourself; until then, email support@gist-ai.net. After cancelling, the plan does not renew, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refund policy
Monthly plan: a billing period already charged is not refunded; after cancelling, access ends when that period ends. Lifetime plan: a one-time purchase that is not refundable once bought. For technical problems — a duplicate charge, or a licence that never activates after payment — contact support@gist-ai.net. Nothing here limits consumer rights under the law where you live that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Acceptable use
You may not use Afterdark to create, share or process any sexualised content involving minors, for any unlawful purpose, or to photograph or send images of other people without their consent. A licence used in breach of this may be ended without refund.
Disclaimer
Afterdark is provided "as is". We work to keep it available but do not promise it will run on every device, or that AI responses will be accurate, complete or what you expect. To the fullest extent the law allows, Livharve is not liable for indirect losses arising from using or being unable to use Afterdark.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the updated version will be posted on this page with its date. For active monthly subscriptions, material changes will be announced before the next billing period begins.
